Description

Footlight Parade (1933) is a pre-Code musical comedy directed by Lloyd Bacon, featuring James Cagney, Joan Blondell, Ruby Keeler and Dick Powell. Amidst the Great Depression, producer Chester Kent transitions from Broadway musicals to creating prologues —short musical films shown before feature films.
